Buyer's Premium:

A collection of British bronze halfpenny coins spanning the period 1915 to 1967, presented in a red card ‘Coin Collector’s Folder’ (Collection No. 2). The folder is organised into three panels corresponding to the reigns of George V, George VI, and Elizabeth II. Each slot is labelled with the date and its respective mintage figure. The earlier issues feature the profile of George V on the obverse and a seated Britannia on the reverse. Issues from 1937 onwards feature the Golden Hind sailing ship reverse design. The collection is partially complete with various vacancies throughout the panels.

Condition report:

Coins are in circulated condition, generally ranging from Good to Very Fine. Many examples display a dark, chocolate-brown patina and various degrees of surface wear to the high points. Several coins show evidence of green surface oxidation (verdigris), most notably the 1916 and 1949 examples. The card folder exhibits moderate shelf wear to the exterior and light toning to the interior panels.
