An early 20th-century oak occasional table designed in the Jacobean Revival style. The rectangular top features a moulded edge and sits above a decorative scalloped frieze. The structure is raised on four barley-twist legs which are joined by a conforming rectangular lower shelf or undertier. The piece is finished with small turned peg feet. The table is constructed from solid oak with visible graining. No maker marks or labels are present.
Condition report:
The table is in fair condition. There is a prominent pale stain on the lower shelf, likely caused by heat or water. General surface wear, including minor scratches, small scuffs, and areas of finish loss, is visible throughout, consistent with age and domestic use. The joints are stable and the table remains structurally sound.
