A tall, narrow vertical wooden advertising sign, constructed from a dark-grained wood with a prominent grain, possibly a walnut veneer. The panel features hand-painted or stencilled graphics in a vertical orientation. At both the top and the base of the board is a stylised yellow-gold club symbol above the word ACE in white block capitals. The central portion of the sign features the word TRIUMPH in large, red serif lettering with yellow-gold outlines. A single mounting hole is drilled centrally near the top edge. A white circular lot sticker with the number 4 is affixed to the upper right corner. The graphics and branding are associated with the British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and the iconic Ace Cafe in London.
Condition report:
The sign is in used vintage condition. Visible surface wear is present across the wooden panel, including light scratches, scuffs, and marks consistent with age and display. The paintwork shows signs of minor fading and small abrasions, particularly concentrated along the outer edges of the board. The wood grain remains well-defined and the colours of the hand-painted elements are distinct and legible.
