A set of proof coinage issued by the Royal Mint for the year 1982. The collection comprises various denominations alongside a central square commemorative medalet bearing the Royal Mint coat of arms. Each coin displays the second definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The set is contained within the original blue plastic presentation folder and a blue card outer sleeve, which is printed with silver-coloured text reading PROOF COINAGE OF GREAT BRITAIN & NORTHERN IRELAND 1982. This issue includes the introduction of the 20 pence coin to the annual proof set series.
Condition report:
Proof condition. The coins are housed within their original protective plastic case and card sleeve. The outer sleeve shows minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the edges.
