A United Kingdom 1983 uncirculated coin collection, issued by the Royal Mint. This promotional lot is presented in its original blue gatefold folder, titled The Great British 1983 Coin Collection, and features a colour illustration of the Tower of London on the cover. The printed text on the folder interior identifies the set as having been specially packed for H J Heinz Company Ltd. The lot is accompanied by a separate promotional invitation card to the Royal Mint Coin Club, bearing the logos for Martini and Martini and Rossi. A collection of coins is included, featuring eight denominations: the half penny, one penny, two pence, five pence, ten pence, twenty pence, fifty pence, and the one pound coin. The two pence coin in this specific set is the standard variety featuring the TWO PENCE inscription. The collection comprises bronze, cupro-nickel, and nickel-brass denominations. The reverse designs include standard motifs of the era, such as the Prince of Wales’s feathers on the two pence and the Royal Arms on the one pound coin. All obverses feature the Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Condition report:
Coins: All items are in uncirculated condition, retaining original mint lustre. Minor natural toning or oxidation is visible on the bronze denominations, which is typical for the age of the set. Packaging: The presentation folder exhibits minor edge wear and light handling marks to the corners. The Martini promotional card is in good condition with some minor signs of handling. The internal plastic film remains intact and clear.
