This 1983 United Kingdom brilliant uncirculated one pound coin was struck by the Royal Mint and is housed in its original promotional presentation folder. The nickel-brass coin features the Royal Arms design on the reverse with the denomination ONE POUND inscribed. The obverse, though obscured by the packaging, bears the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is contained within its original black card folder, which features a colour photograph of a member of the Household Cavalry in ceremonial uniform on the front cover. The interior display section is finished in blue with a decorative red and white horizontal stripe and the header The Reverse.
Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition as issued, retaining its original mint lustre. There is no evidence of circulation wear or significant toning to the visible reverse. The presentation folder shows minor shelf wear and light creasing to the corners and edges, consistent with age.
