A collection of United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated coins issued by The Royal Mint for the year 2020. The set consists of a series of definitive denominations alongside five commemorative issues. The commemoratives include a five pound coin marking the 200th anniversary of the death of George III, two pound coins for the centenary of Agatha Christie, the 75th anniversary of VE Day, and the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage, and a fifty pence coin for Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The definitive coins feature Matthew Dent’s Royal Shield designs. All issues carry the fifth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark on the obverse. The set is housed in its original fold-out descriptive card presentation packaging which includes technical specifications and historical context for each coin.
