A Raleigh Chopper Mk3 bicycle, being a reissue of the classic 1970s model. The bicycle features a steel frame finished in metallic purple. It is equipped with signature high-rise ape-hanger handlebars and a dual-height saddle seat supported by a chrome-plated sissy bar. The wheel configuration comprises a 16-inch front wheel and a 20-inch rear wheel, both fitted with red-walled tyres. The bicycle is fitted with a chain guard, front and rear mudguards, and a kickstand. The main frame tube displays a red CHOPPER decal, while the seat tube features a vertical RALEIGH decal. The head tube is mounted with a metal badge depicting the Raleigh heron motif and the text RALEIGH BIKES. A warning label is printed on the rear white panel of the seat. The bicycle incorporates a 3-speed internal gear hub with a handlebar-mounted twist-grip shifter and front and rear rim brakes.
Condition report:
The bicycle is in used condition with visible signs of wear. The metallic purple paintwork exhibits various small chips and scratches throughout the frame. There is significant oxidation, surface rust, and pitting present on the chrome-plated rear mudguard and the sissy bar. The tyres show signs of use but appear intact. The vinyl seat covering remains intact with some minor surface marking. No original packaging is present.
