A numismatic presentation box constructed from wood with a polished reddish-brown finish and visible grain. The interior is lined with a deep blue velvet material and features nine circular recesses arranged in a three-by-three grid, designed for the display of coins or medals. The lot includes a collection of seven clear plastic protective coin capsules seated within the recesses. The box is fitted with two brass-toned hinges and a recessed finger-pull on the front edge for opening. No maker’s marks, logos, or inscriptions are present on the interior or exterior of the box.
Condition report:
The wooden exterior exhibits several surface scratches and minor scuffing, notably on the top lid and around the edges. The blue velvet interior lining appears well-preserved with no significant wear or staining. The brass-toned hinges are fully functional.
