The obverse displays the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with designer initials IRB visible below the truncation. The legend reads ELIZABETH·II·D·G·REG·F·D·1999. The reverse features the Millennium commemorative design with designer M monogram and inscriptions 1999, 2000, ANNO DOMINI, and FIVE POUNDS. The coin has a milled edge.
Condition report:
Very Fine. Circulated with light surface marks and contact marks consistent with handling. Minor golden-brown toning is visible near the rims.
