Buyer's Premium:

A collection of British commemorative coins and medals focusing on the milestones of Queen Elizabeth II. The lot includes a 1953 Coronation five shillings crown (KM# 891) in a square plastic holder with a handwritten identification label. Two further crowns are present in original bank-issued square cases: a 1972 Silver Wedding Anniversary issue (KM# 917) in a Lloyds Bank case, and a 1977 Silver Jubilee issue (KM# 920) in a National Westminster Bank Limited case. The crowns are struck in cupro-nickel. Also included is a large-format bimetallic-style medallic commemorative for the 2012 Diamond Jubilee, featuring a gilt outer ring and a central monochrome photographic portrait of the Queen. This piece is inscribed DIAMOND JUBILEE 2012 1952 FIFTY PENCE and is housed in a plastic capsule within a blue velvet-lined presentation case.

Condition report:

The items are in uncirculated to extremely fine condition. The 1953 crown exhibits light toning and minor surface marks. The 1972 and 1977 crowns appear in original as-issued condition within their bank cases. The 2012 commemorative is in a proof-like state and remains protected within its capsule. The presentation cases show minor storage wear.
