This group comprises several United Kingdom commemorative crown coins with a decimal face value of 25 pence. Included are specimens commemorating the 1972 Silver Wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel. The 1972 crowns feature the Machin portrait obverse, while the 1977 crowns feature the equestrian portrait obverse. The collection includes coins in various presentation formats, including black plastic frames, one with National Westminster Bank Limited branding, a blue Silver Jubilee card folder, and a larger plastic case with a blue insert.
Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition, retaining original mint lustre with some areas of light surface toning. The protective plastic cases and card folders exhibit surface scratches, minor scuffs, and light handling wear consistent with age.
