This 2018 United Kingdom brilliant uncirculated two pound coin was issued as part of the Royal Mint First World War Centenary series, specifically commemorating The War in the Air. The bi-metallic coin consists of a cupro-nickel centre and a nickel-brass outer ring. The reverse design includes the inscriptions 1914 – 1918 and THE WAR IN THE AIR, with the designer initials DG visible on the left side of the core. The piece is presented in a dark blue Change Checker branded presentation card printed with UNITED KINGDOM and £2. A holographic security strip is located at the base of the folder containing repeating text including BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED, UNITED KINGDOM, and CERTIFIED.
Condition report:
The coin exhibits full original mint lustre and is in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued. The presentation folder remains in excellent condition with no visible creasing or damage.
