A 1994 United Kingdom two-pound coin issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate the tercentenary of the Bank of England. Struck in .925 sterling silver with a proof finish featuring mirrored fields and frosted devices. The reverse design depicts the original corporate seal of the Bank of England within a central roundel, surrounded by decorative scrollwork and the dates 1694 and 1994. The obverse features the third definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The coin is housed in its original protective plastic capsule and presented in a green Royal Mint case with a printed satin interior and the original Certificate of Authenticity.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The coin is in excellent condition with no visible toning, milk spots, or handling marks. The capsule, presentation case, and certificate are well-preserved and show no significant signs of wear.
