A 1979 Isle of Man commemorative silver plated One Crown coin, struck by the Pobjoy Mint. The reverse features a central design depicting a group of racehorses and jockeys in motion, surrounded by a braided border. The legend around the perimeter reads ONE CROWN and BICENTENARY OF THE DERBY. A stylized P mint mark for the Pobjoy Mint is located at the bottom centre. The coin is presented in its original dark green presentation case.
Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition, displaying a brilliant mirror-like lustre and frosted devices. No visible toning, spotting, or handling marks are present. The presentation box is in good condition with minor signs of age.
