Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £1

Buyer's Premium:

A pair of small glazed porcelain or ceramic figurines depicting a gentleman and a lady in 18th-century style riding attire. The male figure is wearing a blue tricorne hat with gold-tone detailing, a mustard-yellow frock coat over a white waistcoat, and red breeches. He is seated astride a white horse with grey highlights on the mane and tail. The female figure is seated side-saddle wearing a red tricorne hat, a blue riding jacket, and a long tan skirt. Her horse is also white with grey highlights. Both figures are positioned on textured green-glazed oval bases designed to represent grass. There are no visible factory marks, model numbers, or decorator signatures.

Condition report:

The figures show evidence of surface wear and minor rubbing to the overglaze enamel decoration throughout. Significant paint loss is present on the red hat of the female figure. Small kiln spots are visible on the horses, particularly on the side of the male rider\'s horse. No major chips, cracks, or professional repairs are observed.
