A decorative group consisting of a large bisque porcelain figural planter and two small glazed ceramic angel figurines. The main piece is a figural spill vase or planter modelled as a young woman in eighteenth-century attire leaning against a textured, hollowed-out tree trunk. The woman is dressed in a pale yellow gown with puffed sleeves, featuring raised white beaded decoration on the bodice and sleeves. The trunk base is decorated with green leaves and pink floral sprigs. The two accompanying figurines depict kneeling angels in a prayerful pose, finished in a bright green glaze with blonde hair and pale wings. There are no visible maker’s marks or stamps on any of the items.
Condition report:
The bisque porcelain planter exhibits significant damage to the upper rim of the log-form vessel, with several missing fragments and jagged broken edges. There is minor surface marking and accumulated dust in the crevices. The two glazed angel figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no apparent chips or repairs.
