A large collection of mixed costume jewellery presented in a rectangular wooden box. The assortment comprises various items including beaded and chain necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches, and a ladies’ wristwatch. Materials include yellow and white-tone base metals, amethyst-coloured stone beads, imitation pearls, turquoise-coloured beads, enamel work, and glass elements. Visible items include a heart-shaped brooch set with white imitation beads, a gold-tone bracelet with multicoloured circular insets, and several filigree and link-style pieces. One ladies’ wristwatch is present with a gold-tone case and expanding bracelet. A modern inventory label is attached to a bagged component reading 6-10mm 15PCS. The wooden box features a circular brand mark on the interior lid depicting a stylised anvil and the exterior is printed with the text WE BUY GOLD & SILVER. No specific hallmarks or designer makers’ marks were identified on the individual jewellery items from visual inspection.
Condition report:
The collection is in varied, used condition with many items tangled. Visible wear to metal plating and surface abrasions on beads and glass elements are present throughout the lot. Some items may be broken or missing components. The wooden box shows surface scuffs and minor staining to the interior.
