A 1994 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint. This eight-coin annual set is presented in an illustrated commemorative folder that provides historical context for the tercentenary of the Bank of England and the 50th anniversary of the D-Day landings. The collection includes a commemorative nickel-brass £2 coin, a nickel-brass £1 coin featuring the Scottish lion rampant design, and a commemorative cupro-nickel 50p coin. The remaining denominations consist of the 20p, 10p, and 5p struck in cupro-nickel, and the 2p and 1p struck in copper-plated steel. Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued, protected within the original plastic insert. The card presentation folder exhibits minor edge wear and light surface scuffing consistent with age. There is visible adhesive tape residue on the interior upper flap of the Bank of England section.
