A collection of United Kingdom decimal coinage issued by the Royal Mint in 1983. The set contains denominations of one pound, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, one penny, and half penny. This issue includes the first year of the nickel-brass one pound coin, featuring the incuse edge inscription DECUS ET TUTAMEN. All coins feature the Machin portrait obverse. The collection is presented in the original Royal Mint black and white card folder with printed historical and technical data. Total mintage for this set was approximately 455,000.

Condition report:

The coins are in uncirculated condition, retaining original mint lustre. The card folder exhibits light shelf wear to the exterior, minor scuffing at the corners, and scattered foxing or spotting to the interior and reverse of the packaging.
