A 1990 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection, issued by the Royal Mint. The set is presented in its original blue and gold-toned fabric-textured folder, featuring a printed lace-effect border and the Union Jack flag. The collection contains a group of coins including a nickel-brass one pound, cupro-nickel fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence (comprising both large and small format versions), and bronze two pence and one penny denominations. The interior of the folder includes historical text concerning the introduction of the new five pence coin and the history of the shilling. All coins are sealed within a transparent plastic blister pack. The reverse designs consist of the standard definitive types issued by the Royal Mint for this year.
Condition report:
Coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition with original mint lustre. The presentation packaging exhibits light wear to the edges and corners consistent with age. The internal plastic housing is secure and undamaged.
