A contemporary side table constructed from solid ash, designed in the Shaker style. The table features a square top above a single frieze drawer. The drawer is constructed with hand-cut dovetail joinery and is fitted with two turned wooden knob pulls and a central brass-mounted lock with an accompanying key. It is raised on four slender, square legs that taper towards the base. The wood is finished with a clear lacquer that emphasises the natural, prominent grain of the ash. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
Condition report:
The table is in excellent contemporary condition. The finish is very clean with no significant signs of wear, scratches, or damage. The drawer mechanism is smooth and the joinery remains structurally sound.
