A commemorative collection attributed to The Westminster Collection titled The King Charles III Coronation Procession Coin Bar Collection. The assembly comprises a group of rectangular silver bars and transparent pictorial inserts depicting scenes from the 6 May 2023 coronation event. Embossed designs on the silver bars represent the King and Queen on the Palace balcony, the Scottish State Coach, and representatives from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. The set is presented within a blue folding folder featuring a gold and red floral border and a large illustration of St Edward’s Crown. The folder cover is impressed with a circular seal reading KING CHARLES III CORONATION 6TH MAY 2023. Each bar and insert is housed in a specific recessed compartment accompanied by descriptive text identifying the depicted participants. This collection was issued to commemorate the first British coronation in seventy years.
Condition report:
The collection is in excellent, as-issued condition. The silver bars and illustrated inserts are well-preserved within their original protective recesses. The presentation folder remains clean and structurally sound with no significant signs of handling or wear.
