Eisenhower obverse and the Apollo 11 mission insignia reverse. It was struck at the San Francisco Mint, as indicated by the S mint mark on the obverse. The coin is composed of a 40 per cent silver-clad material. It is housed within a black plastic insert embossed with the text Eisenhower, United States Proof Dollar, and PACKAGED BY U.S. MINT, which is further contained in a red velvet-textured folder. This specific issue is known amongst collectors as a Brown Ike. The proof strike is characterised by mirrored fields and frosted devices.

Condition report:

Uncirculated. The coin exhibits light surface haze and distinct iridescent blue and gold toning around the obverse perimeter. No significant contact marks or hairlines are visible through the original plastic holder. The red velvet-textured folder shows minor handling wear at the edges.
