This collection comprises twelve United Kingdom bi-metallic two pound coins, each featuring a cupro-nickel centre within a nickel-brass outer ring. The lot includes a range of commemorative reverse designs: the 2012 Charles Dickens bicentenary, the 2015 First World War Centenary (Lord Kitchener), the 2015 Magna Carta 800th anniversary, both 2006 Isambard Kingdom Brunel designs (Portrait and Paddington Station Engineering), the 1999 Rugby World Cup, two 2007 Act of Union commemoratives, the 2013 Anniversary of the Golden Guinea, the 2013 London Underground 150th anniversary (Roundel design), the 2016 Great Fire of London, and the 2015 Britannia definitive. The obverse of the coins displays the fourth and fifth definitive effigies of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley and Jody Clark. Inscriptions include the monarch’s name ELIZABETH II, the Latin legend D G REG F D (Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor), the denomination TWO POUNDS, and the respective years of mintage. Condition report:

The coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting surface wear, contact marks, and minor scratches consistent with general use. Natural toning and areas of oxidation are visible on the nickel-brass outer rings.
