Isle of Man 1997 Golf on Mann Coin First Day Cover (PNC). The philatelic components consist of four commemorative stamps in denominations of 21p, 25p, 43p, and 50p, and a miniature sheet with a £1.30 denomination issued for the Ryder Cup Valderrama Spain 1997. The miniature sheet bears the Pacific 97 World Philatelic Exhibition San Francisco logo. The stamps are cancelled with circular date stamps reading FIRST DAY OF ISSUE 29-05-97 DOUGLAS ISLE OF MAN, featuring a golf-themed graphic. Two Isle of Man coins are inset into the card mount: a 1p coin depicting a golfer and a 5p coin depicting golf clubs and a ball. The cover is produced by Mercury (Watford) and is hand-numbered 0185 of a limited edition of 5,000.
Condition report:
The stamps and coins appear to be in excellent condition. The white card mount exhibits some minor foxing and spotting, particularly near the top right stamps and along the outer edges. The item is currently held within a clear plastic protective sleeve.
