A vintage miniature tub-style armchair, intended for use as a doll’s chair or nursery decorative item. The piece is constructed from natural wicker and rattan with a frame built from cane rods. It features four splayed legs reinforced with an X-shaped cross-stretcher. The joints are traditionally secured with split rattan bindings. The circular seat displays a tight spiral-woven pattern. The wrap-around back and arms consist of vertical uprights finished with a thick, braided wicker rim. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The chair is in good, stable condition. The wicker shows a naturally aged patina with minor surface wear consistent with age. There are no significant breaks, losses, or unravelling to the woven sections visible.
