This set comprises eleven glazed ceramic tiles executed in the Art Nouveau style, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The design features a relief-moulded floral motif consisting of three stylised roses in graduated yellow and orange tones, accompanied by pale green foliage. The central design is integrated with flowing whiplash ribbons in pale yellow, all set against a high-gloss deep forest green ground. The tiles are constructed from a white earthenware body. No maker marks or backstamps are visible in the provided images as the tiles are shown from the front and in a stacked arrangement. The set is currently housed in a polystyrene storage tray.
Condition report:
The tiles exhibit visible surface crazing to the glaze across the set, which is typical for antique glazed earthenware of this period. There are minor chips and nicks along the unglazed edges, including a small, prominent white chip on the top edge of one tile in the background stack.
