Buyer's Premium:

A group of UK bronze pennies housed in four blue Whitman Hobby Division coin folders. The collection spans the reigns of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. The folders include reference numbers 9682 (1881 to 1901), 9683 (1902 to 1929, two folders), and 9684 (1930 to 1966). The obverse of each coin features the profile of the respective monarch, while the reverse displays the seated figure of Britannia with a trident and shield. The folders contain numerous specimens, including designated slots for specific mint marks such as the Heaton (H) and Kings Norton (KN) issues.

Condition report:

The collection shows a varied range of conditions consistent with circulation and age. Early issues from the late Victorian and Edwardian periods generally grade from good to fine, exhibiting significant wear to high points and dark brown toning. King George V and George VI issues are typically in fine to very fine condition. Several later specimens from the 1960s appear uncirculated, retaining significant original mint lustre. The cardboard folders show minor shelf wear and age-related discolouration.
