Buyer's Premium:

A collection of British half-crown coins housed in a blue textured Whitman folder, model number 8013, titled Great Britain Half Crowns Collection 1941 to Date. The collection encompasses issues from the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. Specimens dated 1945 and 1946 are struck in 0.500 fine silver, while subsequent issues from 1947 to 1967 are composed of cupro-nickel. The set includes a range of dates, although several slots remain vacant, notably the early 1940s and the final years of the series in the late 1960s. Obverse designs feature the portraits of the respective monarchs, while the reverse designs display the crowned shield of the Royal Arms accompanied by the floral emblems of the United Kingdom and the denomination.

Condition report:

The coins are in varied circulated condition, generally ranging from fine to extremely fine. Individual specimens exhibit standard signs of handling, including surface marks, light scratches, and natural toning. Some of the later cupro-nickel issues retain portions of their original mint lustre. The Whitman folder shows minor shelf wear, with light scuffing to the edges and corners of the covers.
