Buyer's Premium:

A collection of seven decorative wall plaques, attributed to the English manufacturer Peerage and produced in the mid-20th century. The group comprises six circular plaques and one rectangular plaque, each constructed from embossed pressed brass. A dark chemical patination has been applied to the recessed areas of the metalwork to enhance the visual relief and contrast. The collection features two large circular plaques depicting Dutch-style tavern scenes with figures socialising in an interior setting, framed by ornate scroll and foliage borders. Two medium-sized plaques show multi-masted galleons at sea within repeating volute borders. Two smaller circular plaques illustrate rural scenes, including one with figures and a horse, finished with floral borders. The large rectangular plaque features a horizontal arrangement of daffodils and foliage within a raised border decorated with corner medallions.
Rectangular plaque length: approximately 60 cm. Circular plaques diameter: approximately 15 cm to 40 cm.

Condition report:

The collection is in good overall condition with minor surface wear, light scratches, and oxidation consistent with age and use. White scuff marks are visible on the rim of the upper-left tavern scene plaque. The contrast provided by the dark patination remains strong in the recessed areas.
