A contemporary small sideboard constructed from solid light oak. The design features a rectangular top with square edges over a configuration of two short drawers and a two-door cupboard. The cupboard doors are panelled and open to reveal a single fixed horizontal shelf. The right-hand door panel displays prominent medullary rays characteristic of quartersawn oak. The unit is fitted with four matching dark pewter-finish curved metal bow handles. The piece is supported on thick corner posts that form the feet. No maker’s marks or labels are present.
Condition report:
Good used condition. The surface displays general wear consistent with age and use, including visible surface scratches and light scuffs. There is a layer of dust and grime across the top and front panels. Joints appear sturdy and hardware is intact.
