A rustic industrial-style two-light hanging ceiling pendant. The primary body consists of a large, weathered, rectangular-section reclaimed timber beam. It is suspended by two heavy-gauge, black-painted metal chains that converge at a circular metal ceiling rose. The suspension hardware includes shackles and quick links, with one link stamped BC and CISS. The two lamp holders are bayonet cap (BC/B22) type, suspended from the beam by black twisted braided electrical flex. The fixture is fitted with modern UK-standard three-core wiring (Brown – Live, Blue – Neutral, Green/Yellow – Earth), terminating in a plastic three-way connector block.
Condition report:
The item is designed with a deliberately distressed and rustic aesthetic. The timber beam shows natural weathering, grain texture, and a significant vertical split towards one end, consistent with its reclaimed character. There is minor paint loss and scuffing to the black finish on the chains and hardware. Electrical components are untested; professional installation and PAT testing are required before use.
