A pair of contemporary Egyptian style sculptures produced in a dark, polished cast resin or stone composite. The larger work depicts an elongated head in the Amarna style, influenced by the royal iconography of the 18th Dynasty. This piece features a hand-incised inscription to the underside reading LUXOR above the date 2002. The smaller sculpture is a bust of a pharaonic figure wearing a crown with a uraeus serpent, set upon an integral plinth decorated with incised pseudo-hieroglyphic symbols. Both pieces are modern decorative items intended as souvenirs or home decor.
Condition report:
The sculptures are in good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with their material. Light scuffs, fine scratches, and small casting pits are visible across both surfaces. There are no signs of major chips, cracks, or professional restoration.
