Description
This is a corded telephone manufactured by Goodmans, designed in a retro style inspired by the classic British GPO 746 series. The body and handset are constructed from plastic with a highly reflective, polished metallic finish in a rose gold or copper tone. The telephone features a circular push-button keypad arranged in a rotary dial pattern, containing twelve buttons for numbers 0 to 9, star, and hash. A central circular insert on the dial face displays the Goodmans brand name and includes a redial button. The insert also features printed emergency service information common to the United Kingdom, including 999 for fire, police, and ambulance, and 100 for the operator. The unit is fitted with a black coiled handset cord and additional black rear connection cables.
Condition report:
The telephone exhibits surface wear consistent with handling, including light scratches, smudges, and visible fingerprints across the metallic finish. The plastic casing appears structurally sound with no visible cracks. The cords remain attached and appear to be in good physical condition.
