Description
A pair of framed digital giclee prints produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the character Mr Benn, created by David McKee. The larger print illustrates a scene of Mr Benn entering the costume shop, accompanied by characters in explorer, cowboy, and harlequin costumes. The smaller print features a standalone depiction of Mr Benn in his signature black suit and bowler hat. Both prints include a red MR BENN logo and a circular 50th Anniversary 1967-2017 emblem in the lower right corner. The works are mounted and housed in matching cream-coloured wooden frames with decorative carved details. These prints do not bear hand-signatures or edition numbers.
Condition report:
The prints are in excellent condition with no evidence of foxing, toning, or fading to the paper or inks. The frames are in good condition with no significant chips or losses to the moulding.
