Description
A vintage figural brooch in the form of a lizard or gecko with a curved, articulated-style body. The piece is crafted from 925 silver and is pavé-set throughout the head, body, and limbs with rose-cut marcasites. The eyes are accented with two small round-cut green stones. The reverse of the brooch is fitted with a horizontal pin and a roll-over safety clasp. No maker’s marks are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The brooch is in good vintage condition. All marcasite and green stones appear to be present and securely set. There is minor surface oxidation and tarnish, which is consistent with the age of the jewellery.
