Description
A 925 silver filigree brooch designed in the form of a five-lobed maple leaf. The piece features intricate openwork wire filigree panels within a solid outer frame, further decorated with small granulated silver spheres. The central vein and stem are made of solid silver. The reverse is fitted with a vertical hinged pin and a rolling safety clasp. A small rectangular hallmark is located on the back of the central vein.
Condition report:
The brooch is in good overall condition. There is visible surface tarnish and a natural patina consistent with age, notably on the reverse and around the pin mechanism. The delicate filigree wirework remains intact with no obvious breaks, losses, or repairs. The pin and safety clasp are in working order.
