Description

A collection of UK and British Commonwealth coinage and a German banknote housed in four binders, including three red and black Boots branded Coin Collectors Album binders and one maroon Coin Album. The collection primarily consists of circulation currency from the late 19th through mid-20th centuries. UK contents include bronze pennies featuring the Queen Victoria Old Head portrait and Britannia reverse, alongside George VI and Elizabeth II halfpennies featuring the Golden Hind reverse. Commonwealth issues include a 1950 Hong Kong ten cents and Ceylon 5 cents dated 1920 and 1944. A German 1917 Fuenf Mark Darlehnskassenschein banknote is included. Coins are stored in clear plastic pocket sleeves, many accompanied by typed identification labels with mintage data.
