Description
A collection of numismatic items featuring a 1975 New Zealand Treasury uncirculated coin set presented in the original red vinyl folder with descriptive text. The set includes seven denominations: 1 and 2 cent bronze coins, and 5, 10, 20, 50 cent, and 1 dollar cupro-nickel coins. The lot also contains several UK and Commonwealth commemorative crowns including a 1981 Royal Wedding crown in a square plastic case, a 1986 Royal Wedding crown in a circular capsule, a 1977 Silver Jubilee crown, a 1972 Silver Wedding crown, and a 1980 Queen Mother 80th Birthday crown. Additionally, the collection includes an Ascension Island commemorative coin in a TSB-branded sleeve and a US Eisenhower one dollar coin featuring the eagle landing on the moon reverse.
Condition report:
The New Zealand 1975 set appears in uncirculated condition within its original folder. The 1981 and 1986 Royal Wedding crowns are preserved in protective cases and show minimal surface marks. The remaining commemorative crowns exhibit varying degrees of circulation wear, surface scratches, and significant oxidation, with the 1980 Queen Mother crown showing heavy toning. The US Eisenhower dollar shows signs of moderate circulation wear.
