Description
A handcrafted wooden scale model of the 18th-century three-masted sailing ship HMS Endeavour, appearing to be constructed from an Occre 1:54 scale kit. The vessel features a planked hull finished in white, natural wood, and blue, accented by black strakes and a red and gold crest at the bow. The deck is fitted with multiple levels, a ship’s wheel, and various deck furniture. The hull includes open gun ports with visible miniature cannons. The stern is decorated with a gallery featuring windows and gilded scrollwork. The model is rigged with a network of standing and running rigging, including a bowsprit and three masts. It is mounted on a polished wooden display base.
Length: Approximately 60 centimetres.
Condition report:
The model is in good condition with the rigging appearing intact. Minor surface dust is present consistent with display.
