Description
A large-scale wooden model of the HMS Agamemnon, a 64-gun third-rate ship of the line. The vessel is constructed with a plank-on-frame hull and features three masts with a complex system of standing and running rigging. The decks are fitted with multiple scaled cannons on carriages, alongside various deck furniture including capstans, hatches with gratings, and a ship’s wheel. The stern features a tiered gallery with windows and the name AGAMEMNON inscribed in gold-toned lettering. A carved figurehead is mounted at the bow, and two anchors are secured to the hull. The model is mounted on a wooden display plinth and is housed within a protective glass and metal-framed display case.

Condition report:
The model appears to be in good overall condition with the rigging intact and taut. There is a light accumulation of surface dust on the decks and interior fittings. The glass and metal display case shows minor surface wear and light scuffing to the frame consistent with age and handling.
