Description
A natural amethyst stalactite crystal cluster featuring a dense concentration of well-defined amethyst crystals with a deep purple hue. The reverse side is cut and polished flat to reveal a geological cross-section of the stalactitic core. This polished face displays concentric agate banding in shades of sage green, cream, and brown, forming three distinct eyes from which the quartz crystals have grown. The specimen is free-standing on a flat-cut base. The form and colouration are characteristic of amethyst specimens recovered from Artigas, Uruguay.
Condition report:
Overall good condition. As a natural geological specimen, it contains inherent internal inclusions, surface irregularities, and minor abrasions. The crystal terminations appear largely intact with no major losses.
