This collection of currency comprises several Russian State Credit Notes (Государственный кредитный билет) issued during the Provisional Government era, dated 1917. The assembly includes denominations of 1000 Rubles and 250 Rubles. The 1000 Ruble notes are presented in both blue and green colourways, with the blue reverse featuring a vignette of the Tauride Palace in St Petersburg. The 250 Ruble notes are printed in pink and brown hues, featuring a central double-headed eagle. Printed signatures are present, including that of Governor Ivan Shipov. Various serial numbers and series prefixes are visible, such as В Ъ 136441, А Э 004253, А В – 265, and А А – 072. These notes are attributed to the Kerensky Provisional Government period, corresponding to catalog numbers Pick P-36 and P-37.


Condition report:

The notes are in circulated condition, displaying prominent vertical and horizontal folds, general creasing, and minor edge and corner wear consistent with age. The paper quality remains generally intact with some expected softening. No professional grading slabs are present. Standard grades range from Fine to Very Fine.
