A hand-poured Wessex Mint copper bar of rounded rectangular form with a pillowed surface. The cast bar is presented in its original retail packaging, comprising a black card with a transparent plastic blister. The face of the bar features several struck marks: a circular logo containing the monogram PM, followed by the maker’s name WESSEX MINT, the fineness 999.9, and the legend FINE COPPER 5 OZ. The accompanying presentation card repeats the branding and includes a larger version of the PM monogram within a decorative border, alongside the printed text WESSEX MINT and 5 OZ 999.9 FINE COPPER.
Weight: 5 oz t (155.52 g).
Condition report:
The copper bar remains in its original protective packaging. The bar displays a bright metallic luster with slight surface irregularities and cooling lines characteristic of the hand-pouring process. The black card is intact, though the plastic blister shows a small crack at the top centre edge.
