Lot 66: USA, Florida Goldback 1/4 Denomination 24ct Gold Notes, 100 Count
A collection of 100 Florida Goldback negotiable instruments, each containing a physical quantity of 24ct gold. Each note is constructed from a thin, flexible layer of gold foil encased within a transparent polymer protective layer. The obverse of the notes features a stylised female figure, a trident, and coastal imagery.
Condition report:
The notes appear in uncirculated condition with sharp edges and bright, reflective surfaces. There are no visible signs of folding, creasing, or surface wear to the polymer layers. The paper band is intact. The items are presented without additional capsules or cases.
