A novelty pin cushion in the form of a small bird, possibly a wren or chick, constructed from 925 Silver The exterior features detailed chasing and engraving to represent plumage across the wings, breast, and tail. The back of the bird is recessed to hold a circular, navy blue velvet cushion. The figure is supported by two cast feet. Struck on the side of the body are several hallmark punches: a top mark containing the characters SB, and a bottom row of three punches. The central punch in the bottom row contains the numerals 925.
