Lot 212: A 925 Silver Frog Novelty Pin Cushion

A novelty pin cushion in the form of a crouching frog, constructed from 925 silver. The frog is realistically modelled with a textured surface, prominent eyes, and splayed toes. Mounted on the back is a large, spherical purple velvet-covered cushion designed for pins. The underside of the silver body features recessed hallmark punches within a rectangular cartouche, which are present but not legible as specific characters.
