Lot 8: A Free-Form Art Glass Bowl with Pulled Rim

A free-form art glass bowl featuring a pulled and curled rim that tapers into a stylised swan-like neck and head. The bowl is constructed from heavy cased glass. The interior displays a complex decorative technique featuring a buff-coloured ground with a web-like crackle and veined pattern throughout. This is further accented by areas of golden-brown aventurine-style metallic inclusions concentrated towards the centre and trailing up the neck. The exterior of the bowl is clear, revealing the layered internal decoration. The base is smooth and polished. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
