Lot 73: A Reclaimed Timber Beam Chandelier With Metal Chain Suspension
Not sold
A handcrafted chandelier featuring a substantial weathered timber beam body. The beam exhibits a rustic finish with visible grain, knots, and a natural vertical split near one extremity. The fixture is suspended by two lengths of heavy-duty black painted metal chain, secured to the beam via metal eye bolts and carabiners. The suspension hardware bears the raised characters BC and CISS, with partial lettering on the carabiners appearing to spell STAINLESS. The lighting is provided by two brown plastic B22 bayonet cap bulb holders suspended on black twisted fabric-covered flex. The electrical components terminate at a black metal ceiling rose, with internal wiring connected to a three-way plastic terminal block. The wiring comprises blue, brown, and green/yellow leads. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
